About: Bob Hall
Bob Hall has been in the Nelson Star editor's chair since the summer of 2010. Originally from Calgary, Hall has lived in Nelson since 1994. Previous to the Star, Hall worked at the Nelson Daily News for 16 years where he was a general news reporter and then the managing editor. A graduate from the University of Alberta, Hall has been involved in all aspects of the media since 1988. With a strong emphasis on community involvement, Hall has been involved in many events and associations over the years. He currently sits on the board of Nelson Minor Hockey and the Granite Pointe Golf Course.
