During Sofa Festa late last month at Nelson's Kootenai Moon, everyone making a donation to KAAP — Kootenay Animal Assistance Program — was entered to win a chair donated by the store. The winner was Laurel Mathew, a KAAP volunteer, shown here with KAAP rescue dog Willie.
