Nelson Food Cupboard benefits from customer appreciation
Nelson’s DeVito’s Shoes participated in last Saturday’s Customer Appreciation Day in the downtown and pledged to donate 10 per cent of its net sales to the Nelson Food Cupboard. On Wednesday the crew at the Hall Street shoe store made good with a $756 cheque. On hand were (L-R) Vince DeVito, Anna Kirkpatrick of the Food Cupboard, Mat DeVito, Micaela Olson, Ashley Canning, Joel DeVito, Jennifer Lehmann and Jeanne Dempster.
