Special lunch takes notice of those who make Nelson tick

Wednesday, April 27 is Administrative Professionals’ Day and Nelson’s Pura Vida Foundation is taking notice.

This local charity is paying tribute to these hard working professionals that help keep your business running smoothly day-to-day. To celebrate this day, Pura Vida is hosting a luncheon at the Spiritbar, located in the Hume Hotel. For the $25 ticket lunch is included, as well as door prizes, a toonie auction with some great donations by Mountain Waters Spa and Ric’s Lounge and Grill, and an incredible fashion show put on by Sensations Clothing.

This two-hour event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. and all interested in showing their appreciation for the administrative professionals in their lives are encouraged to buy tickets on their behalf. Tickets are available at Kootenay Valley Financial Services, Sensations Clothing, and Mountain Waters Spa.

All proceeds from this event will be used to support the Pura Vida Shelter in Cusco, Peru that was established in order to assist exploited young girls. Show gratitude for your administrative profession and support a great cause by purchasing a ticket today for your assistant.
