Nelson Nurses Honoured
The College of Registered Nurses of B.C. presented a pair of Nelson residents with nursing excellence awards at a ceremony last month at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Lorill Harding (left) received the Award of Excellence in Nursing Education and Maureen Little (right) received the Award of Excellence in Nursing Research. Thirty-three awards were presented this year. The awards honour outstanding contributions to the nursing profession and for demonstrating excellence in relation to the professional standards.
