Bank Employees Step Up for Pets
The crew at Nelson’s Royal Bank participated in the RBC Foundation Day of Caring last month. Ten people from the local branch spent a day volunteering for the local SPCA where they spent time working at the shelter and selling raffle tickets. For their effort the RBC Foundation came up with a cheque for $1,000 to be donated to the local SPCA. Earlier this month (L-R) Karen Miller, Scott Fraser, SPCA employee Julie Fletcher (with Marmalade), Barbara Brych, Crystal Brown and Jennifer Coulthard gathered at the Baker Street branch to recognize the contribution and hand over the cheque.
