Nelson Gyro Club Gets on the Bus Campaign
Dave Brown (left), president of the Nelson Gyro Club, presents a $500 cheque to Ron Monty of the Nelson Jubilee Manor/Place Foundation. The funds from the local club are in response to a request to replace Jubilee Manor’s 19-year-old bus. The ongoing fundraising drive has already received 80 per cent of the necessary capital require to complete the project and is gratefully accepting more.
