Nelson mayor John Dooley and city councilors along with Nelson Hydro are inviting the community to support Earth Hour. The city is joining with people around the world and the World Wildlife Fund to turn of the lights for one hour. The City is asking everyone to turn off all non-essential electricity from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on March 31. For more information on Earth Hour visit the City of Nelson website at nelson.ca
