Friends come through again for Nelson library
Catherine Brochlagen (left) of Friends of the Nelson Library recently handed over the proceeds from the Friends’ semi-annual book sale to chief librarian June Stockdale (right). The $2,700 raised will be used for the library collection. The Friends have been fundraising — and friend-raising — for many years. Since 1995, the Friends have raised almost $130,000 for the library. The next booksale is slated for October.
