Storytelling festival bids Procter adieu
The Kootenay Storytelling Festival said goodbye to Procter on Saturday, but says hello to Nelson today.
The festival which ran in Procter from 1999 to 2007 before taking a five-year hiatus, came back to life this weekend, featuring many storytellers from years gone by, including Joshua Klassen, Joe Pierre, Marilyn James, Barry Gray, Carolyn McTaggart, and Susan Hulland.
The festival continues today in the 300 block of Baker Street in Nelson, where it will be held in future.
