Boil advisory remains in effect in Balfour
The Regional District of Central Kootenay says Balfour remains on a boil water advisory until further notice.
All water to be used for drinking must be boiled for at least a minute, while all businesses and public buildings need to provide bottled or treated water.
The regional district says it's working through the pilot period of a new treatment plant before it can remove the order.
