Civic Theatre proposal hits desk of Nelson's City Hall
Cindy Sherry, Josh Wapp and Anne DeGrace were at City Hall on Thursday morning to deliver their proposal for keeping a movie theatre open in the Civic Theatre. The deadline for proposals for the space was May 31. Sherry, Wapp and DeGrace were all happy with the work that was done by those involved in their proposal and how people came together around the project. Their proposal will be weighed against one from the Downtown Athletic Club, which was presented to city council in March.
