Pride overtakes Nelson
Kootenay Pride capped off its annual Pride Weekend on Sunday afternoon with a parade through Nelson's downtown streets.
More than 300 people took part in the parade, most donning colourful costumes and many carrying signs. Baker Street was jammed with almost 1,000 onlookers who cheered on the procession as it danced down the main drag.
