Castlegar RCMP seized drugs valuing at least $345 thousand after executing a search warrant in the Pass Creek area.

On February 15, RCMP found a large sophisticated marijuana grow-op including 345 plants in the basement of a residence on McDaniels Road. Hash and marijuana oils were also located along with “70 points” or seven grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.

Two adults ages 52 and 32 were arrested at the home without incident, says a release issued by RCMP. Charges of production of marijuana, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking are being recommended by police.
