Three Nelson businesses were robbed early Tuesday morning.
Paradise Beach Tanning Salon, Railway Station Specialty Meats and Deli and Dr. Steve Tucker Chiropractic on the 85th block of Baker Street were broken into, according to a Nelson Police Department statement. Police were notified about the break-and-enters at 3:47 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police added anyone with information is asked to call the department at 250-354-3919 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Later that morning police also responded to a call about an aggressive panhandler. The man, who is known to police, was arrested for breaching his probation order. He’s now being held in custody with a court appearance scheduled for today.
