Bunty Helen Mercier
May 9, 1931 - September 25, 2017
Bunty passed away peacefully with loving family by her side in Prince George.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, with many dear friends throughout B.C. Bunty will be remembered as a strong, vibrant, energetic lady.
She will be dearly missed by her large surviving family and numerous relatives.
Bunty was predeceased by her first husband, Elmer Mercier (1991), her second husband, Christian Hansen (2008) and one son, Chris Mercier (2016).
Bunty and Elmer raised their family of six children in Prince George from 1966 to 1989. In 1989 they moved to Vernon. Bunty married Christian Hansen in 1996. While living in Vernon, Bunty was active in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Red Hat Society. She had a passion for travelling, exploring countries around the world, often sharing these experiences with family members.
The family would like to thank her caregivers and doctors in Vernon and Prince George.
