DARRELL GRIMES born June 21, 1958 died Feb 21, 2010 Darrell was born Fort McLeod, Alberta, moved to Nelson , British Columbia in 1967 where he attended school. Darrell lived in and around the Nelson and Castlegar area working for the Columbia Brewery until 2001. Darrell passed away at the hospital in Prince George after a lengthy illness. Darrell was pre deceased by his mother Mona, father Larry and his older brother Walter, he was one of 14 children, survived by six sisters and six brothers. Darrell is also survived by his wife Barb, his daughter Pamela and son Kody and his wife Roseanna and grandson Tanner and Barb?s children Ryan, Kurstin and Justin. Darrell enjoyed life to the fullest, he was an outdoor enthusiast. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. An informal memorial will be held on March 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., at the home of Mike and Linda Harker at 1846 Pass Creek Rd, Castlegar. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Prince George Hospice in Darrell?s name.
