BAINES: On Tuesday, March 2, 2010 Denis Minhinnick Baines of Nelson passed away at the age of 78 years. Denis was born in Trail, BC on November 24, 1931 to James and Beatrice Baines. He married Grace Paterson in Trail on February 20, 1954. Besides his loving wife Grace, Denis is survived by his son Brian ( Gail) of Creston, his daughter Susan (Tom) Steed of Nelson, 2 Grandchildren Michael and Christopher Baines, 3 brothers Kenneth, Beverley, and Winston, a sister Jacqueline Bursaw, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents James and Beatrice Baines. There will be no service at this time. Cremation has taken place.
