Eric Nygren passed away October 4th, 2013 after a short fight with cancer.
He served 2 terms as RDCK Area H Director during which time he initiated the Slocan Valley bus run to Nelson. He and his wife, Bonnie, owned the Victoria St. Restaurant in Nelson in the ‘90’s and presently own the Slocan Valley Medical Clinic.
Eric was a member of the RCMP Community Consultative Group, was active in the Nelson City Police Crimestoppers and was vice president of the National Boxing Authority.
His family and friends remember his love, stead-fastness and driving energy.
We will miss him.
