Johanna (Hanna) Kilb

KILB: JOHANNA (HANNA) of Trail, B.C. and formerly of Nelson, B.C., passed away peacefully at Columbia View Lodge on February 7, 2010. Hanna was born in Marburg, Germany on October 7, 1920. She worked at Kootenay Lake Hospital in housekeeping for many years and was proud working at her job. But her greatest pride was her family. Hanna is survived by her children: Ursula (Jim), Barry (Dulce), Herb (Terry) and Ericka (Jamie); her grandchildren: Esther (Jim), Susan (Rod), Karen (Gord), Carol (Mark), Laura (Guy), Barclay (Hazel), Tara (Colin) and Ryan (Allison); numerous great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; brothers Otto and Hans, and sister Annie, all in Germany. She was predeceased by her husband Emil and great-grandchild Wyatt. A funeral service will be held at Personal Alternative Funeral Services "Carberry's Chapel" on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., with Ken Siemens officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Donations made to the S.P.C.A., 7700 Highway 3B, Trail, B.C. V1R 4X2 in Hanna's name would be appreciated by the family.
