At the age of 84 Keith passed away on May 17, 2016 peacefully with family by his side. He was born January 22, 1932 in Darlington, England. He married the love of his life (June) in 1953 in Lethbridge, Alberta and made Nelson their home in 1960. Keith was best known for his role as the Pipe Major for the Kootenay Kiltie Pipe Band, where he not only entertained but tutored many on the chanter, as well as his exceptional self taught Piano playing and Bass talents. He warmed and captivated the hearts of numerous people over his lifetime, and now is in Heaven with his beloved June. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Nicoll (Gregg), Diane Adams, and Keely Pagan (Paul), 9 grandkids and 9 great grandkids. The family would like to thank the incredible staff of Mountain Lake for their compassionate and loving care. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 2nd, 2016 at the North Shore Hall from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
