Lillian A. (nee Feir) Rodman

June 24, 2016

Lillian Rodman, age 95, died peacefully at Mountain Lake Senior’s Community, in Nelson. In her final weeks she was able to visit with family, friends and wonderful neighbours as well as attend the wedding of her only granddaughter, Shannon, in Nelson. She was surrounded by song, prayers, faith fellowships, flowers, laughter, good night prayers and kisses, and a few tears. Thank you to the staff of VCH N.S. Palliative Care Team, the North Shore Hospice (North Vancouver) and Mountain Lake Senior’s Community for their compassionate care. She is survived by daughter Donna Rodman, and son Richard Rodman (Dawn), and 4 grandchildren (Christopher, Sean, Shannon (Austen Kalin) and Daniel). Lil was predeceased by her beloved husband Marvyn Floyd (‘Rod’) in 1999. Lil’s spirit of caring and concern for others, her generosity, incredible determination and independence will be the inspiration and lasting legacy left for her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada appreciated. Celebration of Life: West Vancouver Baptist Church, 450 Mathers Avenue, West Vancouver, BC, Sunday July 10, 2016, 2:00 p.m.
