MARGARET H. (PEG) PATTERSON passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Terry, Dennis, Tammy (granddaughter), Patrick (great grandson) and Dianne (friend) on June 19, 2010 after a long life, well lived, at the Crestview Care Village, Creston, BC at the age of 91 years. Peg was born in Calgary, AB in September 1918 and married Charles A. (Pat) Patterson in December 1940 at the home of her parents, northwest of Olds, AB. Peg had many occupations over her life including: bookkeeper, cosmetician, owner/operator of convenience stores and during WWII, aircraft fitter. Her interests were wide and her hobbies were many. Peg and her husband Pat traveled extensively in North America and obtained their pilots' licenses. Throughout her life Peg was a kind and caring friend, and a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed and always remembered. Peg was predeceased by her husband. She will be forever remembered by her sons Terry (Judy) and Dennis, nine grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held in Nelson, BC at a later date to be announced.
