On Monday, August 3, 2009 Pietro "Peter" Lisanti of Nelson passed away peacefully with his family by his side, after a short courageous battle with cancer. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Assunta, 2 daughters Lucia and Rosetta (Kevin) McConachie, 2 grandchildren Madison and Kevin Jr., 2 brothers Luigi (Antonietta), Gerardo (Romilda), 2 sisters Teresa (Antonio) Russo and Brigida (Vito) Tummillo, sister in law Marisa Iacullo, numberous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
