BUNCE, THOMAS Thomas Bunce passed away Jan.13th 2010. He was born in Creston B.C. Oct. 8, 1934. Went to school at Creston Elementary School to the age of 9, then they moved to Nelson where he attended Central Elementary, then Trafalgar School. He worked at Shortty's Repair Shop until 1958 as a mechanic, then at Rubens Burgess until 1966. Then worked for the Department of Highways until 1986 when he became ill. He's survived by his wife of 50 years, Electa, his children Cindy Norris (Brian) from Victoria, Harold from Toronto, Danny from Nelson, Lee (Jen) from Cranbrook, May Wanda Ashbaugh (Mark) from Chilliwack, his eight grandchildren, his brother Charles, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother (Frieda) and father (Dazley) Bunce. Tom (Tommy) was a good man who touched many lives in so many ways, someone we all loved and respected. He will always hold a special place in each of our hearts. Tom will be remembered for loving the great outdoors. His greatest passion was for fishing. With many other interests he also loved as well 4x4ing, hunting, caping, and snowmobiling when he was well. He will be truly missed.
