POSTNIKOFF-METZ: On Monday, May 17, 2010 Vera Postinkoff-Metz of Nelson passed away at the age of 85 years. Vera was born in Taghum, BC to Joseph and Vera Postnikoff on February 27, 1925. Vera was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Cecil Postnikoff, sister Anne Sauber, and two infant siblings. Vera is survived by many nieces and nephews whom reside throughout the British Columbia, Alberta, and Washington regions. Vera worked for the BC Government, retiring in 1988. Vera will be greatly missed by her many close friends and extended family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 10:00am to 12:00noon from the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Services Ltd. Interment will follow int he Glade Cemetery.
