Trip through time
I read with special interest the account of Gordon Fleming’s life in Nelson.
It was a real walk down memory lane for me as I was born and raised very close to Fleming’s store for 21 years of my life. I frequented the store often for groceries for my parents. I also had my first ride on a motorcycle which was Gordon’s. Hope you don’t mind Lorraine?
I remember Mr. and Mrs. Fleming very well. I also remember Gladys and Rosemary and Clive.
I enjoy reading your stories of pioneers of Nelson. Keep it up.
