Nelson Junior Leafs added a fifth game to their winning streak tonight, defeating Kamloops Storm 4-2.

Kamloops opened scoring 12 minutes into the game with the only goal of the first frame.

The home team evened the score six minutes into the second period, while the Storm had two players in the penalty box. The Leafs kept up the momentum with two more goals before the second buzzer.

Kamloops scored once more in the final minutes of the game, bringing the score to 3-2. The visitors, hoping to push the game into overtime, pulled their goalie with a few seconds left on the clock, allowing the Leafs to score once more on an empty net.
