Mixed playdowns held at Nelson Curling Club this weekend

Curling began bright and early Saturday morning with Nelson’s Nichol rink taking on Sparwood’s McKie rink. Action continues throughout the weekend as the East/West Kootenay mixed playdowns take place at the Nelson Curling Club. Draws will be Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. with action starting up again Sunday morning at 9 a.m. The final is slated for 2 p.m. Sunday. More information on team members and draw times for all the events can be found at playdowns.com.
