The Nelson Atom B hockey team topped Boundary 6-5 on Sunday afternoon to win the West Kootenay Championship.

The Nelson team headed to Midway for the season-ending weekend playoffs ranked first and made good on their regular season effort by taking home the title.

Atom hockey is for kids aged nine and 10.
