Nelson trampolinist Matthew Bullen bounced his way to contention for a podium spot at the Western Canadian Championships.

Bullen, who competes for Glacier Gymnastics, finished fifth in the double mini tramp and sixth in the trampoline level three events, which ran June 2-4 in Port Moody.

The 15-year-old has been part of Glacier’s competitive trampoline program since it started three years ago. Glacier is in the process of adding a second full-sized trampoline to the gym for next season. Anyone interested in joining the program can contact coach Steve Long for more info at steve@glaciergymnastics.com.
