Nelson Leafs win fourth straight against Braves

The 4-1 win gives the Leafs a six-point lead atop the division

Caiden Kreitz stopped 29 shots as the Nelson Leafs won their fourth straight game, 4-1 over the Spokane Braves on Saturday.

Ethan Land, Brendan Makay, Justin Podgorenko and David Sanchez each scored for the Leafs (31-8-3), who finish a three-games-in-three-days set Sunday afternoon at home to the Castlegar Rebels.

Trail Thompson had the lone goal for Spokane (11-28-4), while Trevor Dilauro made 25 saves in net.
