PeeWee Leafs strike gold again

The team has won two tournaments this month

Only gold will do for the Nelson PeeWee Leafs.

The team took first place at a tournament last weekend in Trail, one week after also capturing gold in Grand Forks.

The Leafs romped through the tournament undefeated with three round-robin wins, a semifinal victory over Grand Forks and a 10-4 drubbing of Creston in the final.

The event was the last tournament of the season for the Leafs prior to playoffs in March.
