PHOTOS: No discs broken at Disc Break

The sixth annual ultimate frisbee competition featured 17 teams

The frisbees were flying last weekend at Lakeside Park.

Nelson Homegrown hosted the annual Disc Break ultimate frisbee tournament Saturday and Sunday.

The event, the biggest in its six-year history, featured 17 teams from B.C., Alberta, Washington State and Montana.

Business Business, a team of athletes from Edmonton and Vancouver, finished first while Homegrown was seventh.
