The Nelson Squash Club has added a defibrillator after a member suffered a heart attack earlier this year.

Tara Keirn and Debra Nelson of the Nelson and District Credit Union presented squash club president Pat Hodgson and club pro Sarfarez Ahmed with a cheque for $1,000, which helped the club pay for a defibrillator and fund its junior program.

Members also stepped up with over $1,000 raised following the January incident.
