2011 seconds of shopping awesomeness

Earlier this month the Nelson Star and 20 participating local retailers ran a shopping spree contest

Earlier this month the Nelson Star and 20 participating local retailers ran a shopping spree contest with the grand prize of $2,011 to be spent in 2,011 seconds. We received hundreds of entries and tried-and-true local shopper Kristine Sacenieks had her name pulled as the lucky winner. On Saturday, Karen Bennett from the Star accompanied Sacenieks with a fistful of cash. With 20 shops to choose from, Sacenieks had no problem burning through the money in the allotted time.
