Nelson Commons, the future home of the Kootenay Co-op, continues to take shape.
“The building’s just getting nicer and nicer as it gets its skin,” project manager Russell Precious told the Star this week. “We’re really delighted with the brickwork and the Hardie Board.”
On Wednesday, Spearhead Timberworks was erecting the entranceway to the store, which will face Baker St.
Construction continues with the residential component slated for completion in August and the store scheduled to open in September.
