The brickwork on the Hall St. end of the Nelson Commons project has been completed, and crews began work on the interior of the future Kootenay Co-op store today installing electrical and mechanical systems.
The east side of the project will also be covered with bricks. A fully furnished display suite is scheduled to be ready by the end of March. Project manager Russell Precious told the Star that 12 units remain available for purchase.
