NELSON — Care to Learn Day Care Centre is hosting a fair and swap on Saturday at Central School.
All sorts of businesses, crafters and agencies will be hosting their own tables to showcase information or products. The public is invited to bring in items to be sold at the swap. They will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the swappers and then opened to the public at 10:30 a.m. for the event.
There will be child minding with face painting, play and storytime. Goodies and coffee to be had by all. The Nelson Fire Department will be there to showcase family and children’s safety. Prizes and draws are part of the mix too.
The event is being held to raise money for Care to Learn Day Care Centre with Kootenay Kids. The centre is in need of supplies, bus passes, money for play and creativity for the kids.
