We are so excited to be hosting our first ever Dandelion Festival! This will be a two-day spring festival that will be happening May 21 and 22. Our intention with this festival is to celebrate the beauty of spring, wellbeing of ourselves and our communities. We hope to shine a light on the broad spectrum of healing and wellness modalities that are available in and around Salmo.

We will be hosting activities at two separate locations. An artisan market, live music, family activities, food vendors and more will be happening Saturday, May 21 on site at the Salmo Valley Youth and Community Centre.

At the For-rest Retreat (https://for-rest.ca/) just north of Salmo, we are offering two days of inspirational workshops and short introductory healing sessions with a variety of local practitioners. Workshops and practitioner sessions will be happening both May 21 and 22.

Workshops will include: Plant walks, Yoga, Journaling, Developing your Intuition, Sound Immersion, Astrology, Past Life Regression, Exploring the Lost Flavour of Bitters through Dandelions, Tai Chi and more! Each workshop is one to one and a half long and the fee to attend each one is $15. To register for workshops please go to https://svycc.ca/tickets/.

Practitioner sessions include: acupuncture, reflexology, osteopathy and Reiki and more. These 15-to-20 minute one on one sessions are being offered by donation with a limited number of appointments available. Our aim is to provide a sampler menu of some of the amazing healing services the community has to offer. To sign up for a session go to https://svycc.ca/dandelion-festival/.

If you are interested in being a vendor at our artisan market please go to www.svycc.ca and click on the vendor poster to apply.

If you have any questions, or would like more information check out our website www.svycc.ca or email info@svycc.ca or phone us at 250-357-2320.

It truly will be a celebration of all of the magic that Salmo has to offer. We can’t wait to see you!
