Dance your pants off — Nelson dance camp

About 40 parents, grandparents, siblings and friends filled the Moving Centre for the finale of a week-long dance camp.



Karin Palinka, also known as Miss Karin, hosted a dance camp at the Moving Centre this week. Called Dance Your Pants Off, 18 boys and 22 girls learned routines, songs and made props for the final show held Friday afternoon. About 40 parents, grandparents, siblings and friends filled the Moving Centre for the finale that featured Little Red Ridinghood and the Big Bad Wolf, forest fairies and a rousing hip-hop routine. Palinka spent the spring teaching dance in various elementary schools throughout the city and will continue teaching this fall.
