The second annual Rotary Family Day event took place at Granite Pointe golf course in Nelson on Sunday with well over 500 people in attendance. Those who braved the cold weather were treated to horseback rides, tobogganing, games in the snow, maple taffy, fresh baked cookies, hot chocolate and barbecued hot dogs on the deck. This was a free event sponsored by Nelson Ford, Save-On-Foods, Granite Pointe and the members of the Nelson Rotary Club to celebrate families and the amazing community we live in.
