The Nelson Friends of the Family is holding a fundraiser this Saturday in conjunction with Maglio Building Centre’s 34th anniversary celebrations.
Friends of the Family volunteers will be set up outside the local building centre selling borscht, hot dogs and home baking. Verna’s Country Kitchen has kindly donated all the borscht and all proceeds from the sale will go to our local friends of the family.
The event starts at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m.
At 5 p.m., the Friends will be holding their raffle draw. The raffle includes items from 16 local businesses. Tickets for the raffle are available at Maglio Building Centre.
