Fundraising garage sale supports Brazilian agro-forestry project

ACRAA is run by Nelson’s Thor Smestad

Come support ACRAA Brazil, an agro-forestry project in Brazil, which is hosting a fundraiser garage sale Saturday.

ACRAA is a Brazilian non-governmental, non-profit environmental organization located in the Amazon region, state of Pará, village of Alter do Chão, Brazil.

Deforestation in Brazil has been soaring the last few years, particularly in the Amazonian state of Pará. ACRAA’s mission is to not only address deforestation and the efforts to mitigate climate change, but is also committed to the reduction of poverty in the local area.
