Two separate donations were made, with $3,000 going towards paying the salary of a teacher in a Haiti Arise school, which Kootenay Christian Fellowship has been involved with since Mount Sentinel students were stranded there in 2010.
They’ve been supporting the teacher since 2011. Rotary also presented $2,000 raised at a sold-out international tasting faire to Pastor Jim Reimer (right) to support Our Daily Bread.
