A Kootenay resident and former CAO of the Village of Salmo will be discussing her recently published book in an online forum on Feb. 18.

Diane Kalen-Sukra is the author of Save Your City: How Toxic Culture Kills Community and What to Do About It.

The event will be hosted by the Charter for Compassion, a global NGO whose mission is to promote and cultivate the principles of compassion in all relationships — civil, environmental and political.

Kalen-Sukra will be interviewed by Lisa Berkley, PhD, the founder and director of the Institute for Inner Economy, a non-partisan think tank dedicated to creating positive peace for governance, diplomacy, and civil progress, at the local, national, and international level.

The citizen’s edition of Save Your City can be found in local book stores and is available online.
