The Nelson auxiliary has over 70 members who volunteer approximately 15,000 hours per year. Over the years, the auxiliary has raised over $600,000 for the purchase of hospital equipment. The auxiliary meets in the Kootenay Lake Hospital boardroom, fourth Floor, at 1:30 p.m. on the second Friday of each month. New members are always welcome.
