Kootenay Pride Parade (finally!) returns to Nelson

The parade packed Baker Street on its return from the pandemic hiatus

The best dance party in Nelson made its joyful return to downtown Sunday.

Kootenay Pride’s parade packed Baker Street with revellers to cap the weeklong celebrations. Crowds of spectators took in the first parade to happen since the pandemic scrapped the event in 2020 and 2021. Here’s some of our favourite photos from the parade.
