Let it rain! Cavalcade sweeps through Nelson

Wet weather and a global pandemic didn’t ruin the popular event

A global pandemic and rainy weather didn’t keep L.V. Rogers’ Class of 2020 from going out in style.

With their usual graduation ceremonies scrapped by COVID-19 restrictions, students were still able to parade through the city and along a packed Baker Street for the traditional cavalcade.

The crowd was the first large gathering the city has had downtown this year, and they cheered as students passed by.
