After a lacklustre winter that left many Nelsonites disappointed with the pitiful snowfall, families are once again park-bound as temperatures rise. On Sunday afternoon plentiful families packed into Lakeside Park to enjoy the afternoon warmth.
During the Star's visit, four-year-old Jasmine Elliot spent her time rocking back and forth on her spring-loaded bouncy car while nearby Sequoia Ray, 1, was father-thrown giggling into the air.
And though the beach was deserted, it's only a matter of time before Kootenay residents start donning bathing suits and began preparations for what looks to be a gorgeous coming spring.
